travel companies

can enybody tell me what the hell is going on these days with the prices of holidays. you see a price for a holiday
ooh that looks good by the time they put all the suppliments on
youve got to be bloody rockefeller [:0] phoneed for a holiday for my son his wife and 3 kids they charge the 13yr old as a adultso it was 3 at £259 and 2 at £239 that came to £1257 so i said thats alright then by the time they had finished with all the extras the total was £1778 [V] now this was a accomadation on arrival.
now i think these companys are getting away with murder. [xx(]
ive been going abroad for 29 yrs now and i have never nown enything
like it [:0] they charge booking fees transfers meals on the plane
this charge that charge and we are letting them away with it
next they be asking you to take your own toilet paper on the bloody plane.

I agree with you Sandra it is like the flight only prices, they charge you a fuel supplement, meals some charge a booking fee.The funniest of all is the ticket on depature charge of £10 to get your ticket at the airport!!I mean you are saving them a stamp.[}]
Also i would be carefull with goldtrail accomodation (if it was them)as most of it is fairly dire,a friend of mine was a rep for Goldtrail.
Have you looked into flight only and then getting transfers and then accomodation, could be a better option and would also give them more room than 1 hotel room.
Some agents don't charge adult prices until the child is 16 years old if it is self catering accomodation.
Good luck in your search[:X]

I agree with Sharon Sandra. Get your daughter to book an apartment and the flights seperately. There's plenty of people on here with places to rent, check out their profile pages to see who has websites etc.
Good luck

then transfers it works out dearer. thomas cook are charging £65
transport supplement each [:0] on there holidays what the hell is that [:0] £10 pp fuil tax £20 pp transfers £10 each for meals £5 each for childrens meals but because stacy is 13 they class her as a adult i think its about time all this was sorted out
some companys are charging £12 to £15 now for tickets on departure.

There are still some holiday companies who don't charge the earth but you have to look for them. They say it is best to book either very early or very late.Booking your own accom can work out a lot cheaper, as it has for us this year, but you have to keep an eye open for the right flights.A1 travel & Flightline can both be very good but, sometimes, it can be as cheap to book a package holiday just to get the flight and then book accom seperately.Sounds crazy but its true....Alan.
