One way Flights

A lot of people need to find a one way flight (as I do from time to time), here is a list of companies that do online booking for a one way flight.

http://www.firstchoice.co.uk
http://www.thomsonfly.com/en/index.html
http://www.britishairways.com/travel/home/public/en_gb (only Izmir)

http://www.xl.com/ (only from UK)

Re: One way Flights

Managed to book what must be the bargain seats of the year ;D 4 one-way seats at the end of October for £99 from local East Midlands airport This was excel using the promotional code TESCO, which saved us £80

As these flights were so cheap we've booked 4 even though there will only be 2 of us travelling, which means we will benefit from 4 persons baggage allowance, saving £££££££££££££s on excess baggage 8)

Checked this out with Excel before we booked to ensure it was permissable, then discovered that we are actaully flying with BMI : Emailed the airport yesterday to explain circumstances and have received confirmation, in writing, that we shouldn't encounter any problems and will just need to inform the check-in staff when we arrive at the airport.

I know flights aren't often this cheap, however, if you are wanting to take over and above the luggage allowance or like us are taking luggage for a more perminant stay as opposed to just a holiday this might be a good option to consider

Lindy that is such a good idea, I wonder if BA will do the same as in the winter a lot of their flights are only £36 each way. Good luck to you both Linda, I bet you are getting excited now.
