Well, you're saying I don't need to go to college to be a private pilot? In any country? Please confirm this, if this is true my life would be sooo much easier!
By the way, you need to take in the fact that I'm not an adult yet and I'm worried if I do need to go to college or not (as I've not been to college yet) my education is important to me, as in, I don't wanna end up needing to give a company a certificate I don't have simply because I never went to college!

First get your licence and then hang around the bar at the Dhaka Intercon hotel
The bucket part sounded extremely rough.. I don't know about that. Oh, and including the questionable cargoes. Uh.. so I'd have to get my commercial licence before I hang around at this bar or is it the private one? I'm getting mixed up

I don't think the guys at the Dhaka Intercon are very fussy

No you would need to get a private license before you could apply for a commercial licence.

Quick question for you:
Q What is the relevance of Take-off weight and landing weight.

No you do not need to go to college as all training is dealt with by the flight school. but a good standard of mathematics is very important for making necessary calculation for such things as Distance Vs speed Vs weight etc etc.

Hmm.. It's relevant for how long the runway needs to be (landing wise) and if it can even take off?

Re: So being a pilot is a dream job of mine...

I think that maybe the wrong answer for oldfogy :-)

P.S. oldfogy, auction finished final bid 181.

There appears to be quite a few female pilots these days. My wife a few years back got to fly a commercial for several minutes on a flight from Edinburgh to Heathrow with BA with the auto pilot off, the captain then was a female, glad I wasn't on that flight as my wife can hardly park the car in a straight line. :-)
