I am not sure that getting involved will be a good idea. As with most investments, you need to look at the basics of the business and management strategy; it is the two fundamental bedrock issues that have let TC down, and just pumping cash into it does not change anything.
Brits can get a bit nostalgic about firms like TC, but that is not a reason to invest: when they explain what has gone wrong, and how they will put it right, then will be the time to consider them as an investment.
