Re: How To Advertise

Put your property on as many web sites as possible, advertise in local newspapers, local shops, supermarkets, places of work or friends places of work. You know you have to put a lot of effort in at first but once you get a few renters word of mouth is the best recommendation. Believe me it works we have many customers who have have done this.

Re: How To Advertise

I always think it is best to have a plan and have found the unique selling point of your particular property. There is a lot of competition out there and many many websites that advertise FRBO. Look at them all before you decide who gets your advertising fees.

You really need to study the market and try and find out which website performs best for rentals in your area. Some rental sites work great for say Spain and Florida but not so good for Turkey so you need to do your homework. Speak to the owners of rental sites and ask what their demographic is and how their responses are for certain geographical areas. Also speak to other owners and see how many requests they get from certain sites.

You then have to learn how best yourself to turn enquiries into bookings. I have always found that a fast and personal response really answering the prospective clients questions is the best way. Really know your area and all its facilities and attractions and use this in your response to the enquiry.

Having a website does help but try and make the content different to the adverts you place. You see a lot of personal websites that are actually just duplicates of the advertising copy, your own website needs to be an expansion in detail and a key selling tool along with your personal knowledge of the area.

Great pictures are really really important too. It's worth working really hard and staging your house properly to get good pictures.
