Military Permission in Yesilkent
Have had post from our builder today to say there is a problem with military permission for Sapphire Beach in Yesilkent. This apparently is due to the land in front and at the back of it where Summer Breeze and Seahorse have been built. Apparently they have been built on military land.
Has anybody got any information?

Re: Military Permission in Yesilkent
I have never come across anything like this before. One idea would be to check out with the local mapping office (your lawyer might do it for you) if indeed it is built on Military land.
Also, if the property has been built illegally consider starting legal action to sieze the developer's funds. You don't say how far through the buying process you are, but you may be able to get back what you have paid if he cannot complete the sale.
You need a lawyer.

We have two properties on the gorgeous Seahorse complex. We also have our TAPUs for these so obviously no problem with the military owning the land! Where do these stories come from is it sour grapes? This complex is built by a national company with an excellent reputation, no local 'cowboys' here. The complex is second to none in the Didim and has the wow factor you can only dream about being able to afford at home or even Spain. We love it.

No sour grapes. Just written letter to say there is a problem. Are the TAPU's in your name, or in someone elses?

Our Tapus are in our name. Other brits on the Seahorse also have their deeds. Does the letter from your builder mention the Seahorse as well as Summer Breeze?

Seems to be something strange going on here! This weeks voices has a story in it stating that they have just handed out their very first TAPU for an owner of the Seahorse Complex?

The TAPU's are in the british clients names.
