We purchased an off-plan Duplex from Motif in the middle of 2008 at Ilica Park. We paid Motif for a number of extras (about £10k) which were all installed when we took over the Duplex in May 2009 at which time we also received the TAPU.

Sure there has been teething problems with the complex but Motif have in general always kept us informed even when the news was bad - delays in construction etc. Also on a number of occasions they have gone out of their way to sort problems that really were not part of an Estate Agents remit - lost baggage, replacement apartment when power was being switched from a temporary to a permanently supply at the complex (at no cost to us).

The complex is almost complete now, as always the delays have been down to cash but the majority of propertis are now sold. Anyway I do not think Turkey is the only country hit by the global recession.

In short we cannot say our experience with Motif has been bad ,prahaps a little stressful at times but that the fun of buying a property abroad where everyting is done second hand.

Regarding Adnan, in our opinion he is great and has always been available to help no matter what the time of day or night. We trust him to look after our property and we know he goes and inspects regularly as we have the pictures.Sure we pay him, but for what he is paid I think we have the better deal. We know that he split from Mofit in July last year when he and Mete established their own management company and we wish them both the best and have no problem in recommending them.

tut tut sootysut it sounds to me like adnan is a good guy and it seems he is doing all he can for everyone. the post above from mike l is about the only good thing to be posted about motif and even then it is not what you could call a glowing endorsement of them. is there anyone on this forum who has a positive story about motif? can we assume that heather and ali do not read this forum or are they too ashamed to speak up for themselves?

I could not agree more with Mike L, Ilica Park and Berniecowap. I think these personal attacks are uncalled for and will not do anyone any good. If you have a grievance against a company fine, try and solve it whatever way you can, but that does not include getting really nasty and personal about people who cannot react on the forum to the allegations made against them. Compare experiences by all means, but try to stick to facts.

els i agree with you and the others that posts should stick to the facts and should not make personal attacks. i think people who are posting problems here are only posting here after trying and failing to sort the problems with motif directly. everyone who has been let down by heather and motif take it personally and she was very keen for it to be personal when she was taking the money. this is an open forum and so people can react to allegations made against them unless as i said above they do not look at the forum or they are too ashamed. the other reason could be that they have moved on to another project and do not care.

Thanks Mike L, its good to know things can get sorted out. Like others on the forum we have found Adnan to be a real good guy, always there when we've needed him and even if he can't get this sorted out I think he will do his best to help.

I've just been re reading the messages on this forum and wondered how the message from Ali was received and if the new email address he promised is up and running yet. The office is supposed to open tomorrow according to the message on the forum so I will telephone and see if there is any uptodate info. Does anyone else have any DEFINITE information on any of this.

We phoned Jordan Properties today and asked to make an appointment with Ali.. the lady who answered said she'd ask him... so, hey, let's be optimistic!

I've just searched for the website for Jordan Property Services - and found it! The contact us page isnt there yet but its definitely looking hopeful. I just hope we do actually manage to see Ali and get sorted out. Please let us know if you find out any more.
