Shanty Beach

Does anyone know if the Shanty Beach is open for the new season & whether they can still sell alcohol?
We are coming over to our villa tomorrow & usually like a night out in Side at some point in our holiday. If they are still serving cocktails then I will need to book a hotel for a night, so that my husband can enjoy a drink

Re: Shanty Beach

Shanty Beach Bar is half open only and no food there yet, although alcohol is being served. We prefer Garden Beach Bar next door though and that is fully open. Look at Side Miami Beach Hotel which is just off the promenade and only a 10 minute walk into Old Town Side. It is all inclusive, has a big swimming pool, and is only £25 per person per night. Or if you want to be in the centre of Old Town Side, then The Beach House Hotel is great with only 20 rooms and it has its own private beach area. That is £20 per person per night bed and breakfast basis only.

Re: Shanty Beach

Hope the Shanty Beach is open for evening food soon as its very good, never eaten at the Garden Beach. I never go on West Beach during the day as there are too many tourists, much prefer East Beach.

He was asking about the Shanty Beach bar, not hotels - on commission Angela?

Really Sue ... you should be ashamed of yourself. I have never taken commisssion from anyone - ever - and if you had any sense you would know that for a fact. Surely we have the right to our opinions and free speech?!
