Re: Turkish Tourism Bounces Back!

I know it only makes up a small percentage of the UK total but certainly this region for 2018 is very much more Turkey friendly as we have Jet2 for the first time ever, doing Dalaman from Belfast and existing operator Thomas Crook tripling their flights to Turkey

Yes some of the talk is travel industry sales puff but i am optimistic/ hopeful there will be a substantial increase in Turkeys tourism this year

The hard grafters there certainly deserve it- fingers crossed for a great 2018 season

They had better lay off the segregated alcohol free beaches idea.

Spot Blue is an international property seller. I found them and now get emails from them. To my mind they hijacked me when I was looking for Istanbul flights. I thought I was on an info chat with easyjet and it wasn't easyjet that had the info chat at all. It turned out to be Spot Blue. So beware of being hijacked. I became suspicious because they had no knowledge of the simple question I was asking. Light bulb moment but too late they had my email address that I did not give them. Very clever.

Reminds me of a time when I was in Retail. One of my Board directors visited my store, and when viewing a dept I explained that id was running at 30% increase year on year (feeling quite good)

Then came the reply 30% of F*** All is F*** All.
ah well that took the wind out of my sails

Re: Turkish Tourism Bounces Back!

Putting all these positives together I def think 2018 could be the best year in quite a while for Turkish tourism

Why doesn't TUI publish numbers instead of percentages
as 70% of one doesn't mean much
