Re: Turkish Tourism Bounces Back!

Popped into Fetiye yesterday, very quiet tourist wise, many places yet to start operations. Our go to place [Mulberry tree] was still tucked up for winter. It was a Sunday but tourism is normally a 7 day a week operation. It was the quietest I have ever seen Fetiye
Koyegiz though is business as usual, our usual eatery was mobbed with folks queuing for tables, Turkish custom in the main as foreign tourism is not too apparent here. There was a bustle to the village, thats down to the prep for todays market I reckon.

Re: Turkish Tourism Bounces Back!

Sad to report that there doesn't seem to be any bounce back in the Bodrum area, Gumusluk last night was deathly quiet we were the only diners in the Mars, and a couple of drinkers was the lot, Turgutreis was a similar story today/ Marco's bar seemed in mothballs, the side cafe though was open, it was a 52 week operation a few year back, I wish the other tourist venues better luck than here.

Always found Mulberry a pretty dire place

Tried their breakfasts couple of times-poor

Each to their own

I'm very glad to be in error on that, I missed our lunch in there this time.
