House security

We have negotiated a deal to import a number of very proffessional looking 'dummy burglar alarm boxes' These are a huge deterrant to the potential thief.(they do not have them here)!!(dummy boxes that is, not thieves who are plentiful) They also have a blue flashing LED battery powered light. Also there will be a small security sticker for the door or window which we are having manufactured with a Turkish tel. no.
For those of you who do not wish to fork out for elaborate systems, this is for you, and the authenticity should deter.
We do not need access to the interior of your house to fit, and obviously due to low cost/profit, we would prefer to fit in one area a number at a time to make it financially viable. We offer one of these boxes fitted and operating for only 80ytl. PM me if you want one. Strictly first come first served basis.

Re: House security

B&Q sell wired alarms for £70, ( 186YTL ) as yours is battery powered I suggest the B&Q alarm is the most cost effective for even the simplest of people to fit. this being among other things my line of work, I will always advise wired alarms, yes electric can be intermitent in some places but if a rechargable battery is used as back up...........no problem, how long will the battery last in your dummy box?, as they say " you get what you pay for "

Re: House security

Its what it says it is, A dummy box. It is solely a deterrant to someone who may think about having a go at your property.
If you are going for a wired alarm, for most people who have holiday properties here, means they would have to keep their electricity switched on. The safest is to switch it off.
Precisely you get what you pay for.....80ytl partial peace of mind.
We do not purport to be home security specialists,as a specialist would not reccommend a dummy box, but reccommend a full & proper system. However as a deterrent they are marvelous and should frighten off all but the most persistent, for a very low cost.

Re: House security

When out on my visits to various locations along the coast and to the various different properties, those who have been burgled are normally those who are way for several weeks or months. (excepting one resident who works every day). They know they have time to mess about removing grills etc. and will have an escape route...ie across open land etc. They love to nick alcohol (due to it's unaffordable price to the average Turk) and anything small, although I know of one where they took all the white goods from the Kitchen + furniture. They rarely take tellies etc.as far as I can gather. The usual target is a site known to have a high number of Yabanci who are occassional visitors, therefore some possible tasty nickable stuff!!

Re: House security

My local B&Q has a wireless alarm which contains one window/door contact, a full working alarm box plus a sensor all for the grand total of £30.

Re: House security

Whose going to switch it off when it's wailing it's siren at a villa in Antalya and the owners tucked up in bed in Sheffield?
