sunday carvery 9/9/07

This Sunday I am holding, due to demand another of my Carveries. Please find this weeks menu and I look forward to seeing all of you. This may be one of the last menu's to be held at The Morgul Antik restaurant Yalikavak this season, so lets make it a full one(just like the last one). Looking forward to all the controvesity (to tired to look up the spelling) that our menus seem to bring, anyhow please book through luckycat or myself if you wish to come.

By the way if anyone wants recipes for any of the dishes I do then please ask and i will post them here or on my website.

Homemade Chicken liver pate soaked in brandy and wrapped in bacon.

Our rich and creamy tomato soup with herb croutons.

Pears cooked in red wine stuffed with garlic cheese.

Roast Sirlion of beef with Yorkshire puddings and creamed horseradish.

Gamekeepers pie with wild rabbit, boar and mushrooms with a puff pastry top.

Roast chicken basted in herbs and butter with a bread sauce.

All the above are served with Roast potatoes and creamy mash
Baton carrots vichy style
Ratatoiulle a firm favorite with only fresh vegetables
Brocolli in a cheese sauce

Eat as much as you can for only 25ytl per person Children under 12 15ytl and the real little ones eat for free.

Desserts only 8ytl per person

Fresh fruit crumble with Homemade real custard.

Rich dark chocolate parfait served with a red wine and honey coulis

Apple and apricot tarte cooked with cinnamon served with fresh cream.

Come if you want, please remember to book as it is a popular event and no need to mention sprouts, fake postings or anything boring as this has already been done. lol again many thanks everyone for your support.

I've got some rhubarb seeds but haven't planted them yet - and then the rhubarb can't be harvested until the second year!! A long wait, I'm afraid.

I've got rhubarb / rhubard growing here in a large pot on our terrace !

Picked the first few stalks a few weeks ago...........................deeeeeeeeeeelish !

I've heard of people putting manure on rhubarb but I prefer custard with mine.
