Re: Sunday Dinner

Great value. Don't suppose you'd consider moving up the coast a bit........Guzelcamli maybe?

Agree with Shirley about the green letters.....very hard to read. The purple is very clear and easy on the eye.

Re: Sunday Dinner

Don't wanna get anyone jealous but we went for a meal today back in the uk - the full works. Beef, Turkey and ham roast with all trimmings, 2 yorkshire puds, stuffing, carrots, green beans, garden peas, cauliflower cheese, new potatoes and roast potatoes topped with thick gravy with option to go back if you have any room left all for 3.50 each. For afters a huge icecream sundae with choc chips, fudge cake cubes choc icecream and fresh cream and choc syrup for 3 quid.

I cannot get over how cheap grub is here

Re: Sunday Dinner

flipin hec peaceplant where in uk do you stay? I .have never seen sunday lunch for 3.50 in the North East the cheapest I have seen is 5.50/ 4.50 for OAPs & children then it is usually a bit of a dump the nicer places usually charge 6.50 -8.50 I don't mind paying if its a nice dinner but never think a pud is worth 3.00 !

Re: Sunday Dinner

Wow Peaceplant - let me know where that is and i will come next winter !!
Fantastic value - in Leicester we were having Sunday lunches for around 6 95 for the cheapest to 12 95 for a "posh nosh "
I do agree with you though that food in UK is cheaper than Turkey
especially if you frequent the pubs that do "" two for one ""
