Wow--that looks just like an advert to me!!! Or am I being cynical again?

Just remember all the "bad press" Luckycat had for her "advert"-- & it was nowhere near as blatant as this one!! BUT--it doesn't say where the Tempo is!!! Is TLF

now going to be full of adverts?? If so--I won't be looking on this site so often--it's news and helpful advice we look for!

They have a (paid) advertisement - on the Left hand side of the screen - so it's (apparently) OK for 'posted' advertisements - unless, as you rightly point out - it's Sue promoting an event, in which case it is "Blatant advertising" which seems to annoy some members of the TLF Community

There is plenty of advice if you look,The Tempo,like others pay to advertise,unlike some who are always looking for a freebie.This helps pay for the upkeep of the site and the advice subscribed,for you to take advantage of free.

It doesn't look like an advert to me!! - it looks like they're informing TLF members that they have "free wireless internet, free pool table, a full sky sports programme and karaoke", and also reminding us "don't forget EXTRA DISCOUNT for TLF members".

Other paying advertisers inform us of what they are offering so why shouldn't Tempo?

Both Sue and Tempo have paid for a banner advert, which entitles them to post events and offers, the advertisers sponsorship helps to keep the forum FREE for users. Please support the advertisers who in turn help towards the costs of the forum.

The Tempo, We have been to this restaurant/Pub on many occasions and can honestly say Fantastic!The food is Superb, the music is fine and the menu is to die for, prices are exellent and staff very nice and friendly.
See you all in two weeks.

Very well put Mushtaq Thank you, I agree that this helps to pay towards the forum upkeep and also to inform us of the offers for TLF members. Maybe it's my eyesight, but I cannot read the address of the Tempo, but interested in where you are, but Morgul Antik also give TLF members a 10% discount. What a better advert than us members recommendations to restaurants we've tried. Mushtaq's thread and the Favourite eateries in and around Yalikavak is well worth a visit, as those of us who have recommended have also tried and enjoyed these establishments, or in very rare cases some may have not, but it's word of mouth that is the best advertisment and if you try and don't like, well one mans fodder isn't always going to satisfy everyone is it.
