Re: Pressure washer

I was just thinking with regards to the detergent etc.

If you use one of the rotary type car bushes then once the lowest end of the pool has been cleaned and is filling up with all your used detergent, just place the water pipe in the big puddle to recycle it back through the washer, obviously you need to make sure there is no grit in it or use a filter that you can buy to do the job, these washers do not all need to be connected to the mains water to be able to work, they can and will suck up the water from a bucket/barrel or in this case the big puddle at the end.

Obviously when finished just aim the water out of the pool to get rid of it.
Or if you have a pump that will help when just rinsing out the detergent from the pool.

Good luck.

Re: Pressure washer

Thanks but we dont use detergent as it causes the pool liner to discolour for some reason, we leave the pool full over the winter, then we pump it out, pressure wash all over, use the mini pump to take the last couple of inches out of the bottom, fill the pool and use shock treatment and backwashing for the first couple of days, hey presto ready to go
