Pressure washer

Hi, does anyone know where we can get a pressure washer to clean out our pool in the Bodrum area please and what sort of price we'd be looking at?

Hubby checked them out last year before we moved and seems to think they are around 1200tl?

Thanks
Sara

Re: Pressure washer

No doubt there are plenty around and even dearer than 1200tl?.

But for what you 'originally' want to use it for, then you will not want anything too powerful, 90 - 100bar should do you fine and maybe even half that price.

Where the pool is concerned you should not be using a 'Dirtblaster Lance' because that is very powerful and may even losen the grouting between the tiles, so be careful, only use for cleaning the likes of concrete/slabs.

However to use the likes of the 'Patio cleaner' tool, although not very good when used on concrete with a washer lower than 100bar but would actually help with the pool cleaning quite a bit.

Maybe even a car cleaning rotary brush could be helpful, and also has the added benefit of being used to wash the car if required. (although truthfully I find it ''quicker, cheaper and a lot lot easier'' just to go to one of the many car washes to get my motor cleaned)

Re: Pressure washer

There's an idea for you Sara, take the pool to the car wash.

Re: Pressure washer

Thank you for your help, I was sure that we could get one for under 500tl, your link was very helpful

We've got a liner in the pool not tiles, so have to be really careful as it will rip if to much pressure is used, the one we borrowed last year left a couple of marks where hubby got a bit over zealous cleaning it!

Thank you again
Sara

Re: Pressure washer

You can vary the pressure on the lance it isn't all or nothing, plus a soft brush helps as well !

Yes, we learnt last year that hard brushes dont work well on pool liner and it wasnt until the last couple of metres that we realised that we could also alter the pressure on the washer we borrowed! As we left it full this year over winter there will probably be a few hundred frogs to relocate in there as well this year
