Re: TAPU - current situation
Hi
This was in The Didyman today about the new law:
'The Ministry of National Defence will immediately give the security zone maps to the Title Deeds and Cadastres offices. The officers will check the property to check whether it is in the zone or not. Both buyer and seller will know if it is in the zone straight away prior to purchase. The sales procedure will be the same as for Turkish buyers. But purchases in areas deemed in military security zones will still be under the control of General Staff.'
Does anyone know if this will therefore mean that we will not have to pay the £800 military search fee?
Thanks
S
