can anybody tell me what is the exact situation now re sales to foreigners ins Turkey?
I bought in 20045 and an still waiting for my tapu.

You should have had yoru tapu a couple of years ago. I would chase that up. The recent delay was only a couple of weeks ago. Please bully your agent to sort yours out as a 3 year wait is ridiculous.

I seemed to have got caught up in two changeovers, first the redrawing of maps now the freeze on foreign buyers.

A few of the other owners on the complex have their tapus but only recently and a couple of us are still waiting.

Do you know if they are issuing tapus to foreign buyers again?

I'm in the same situation as you carol. I bought over 2 years ago when the first freeze was on.
Other people on my complex have their Tapu so i know everything is above board with the builder.
I think my lawyer may of held back on my application but i'm not sure.
I'm back over in a week and i will be putting some pressure on my Lawyer as i'm sick of waiting.

Cracks me up this country. From one extreme to the other. 1 day TAPU's law passed in 2 weeks ? Now if that was the UK it would take more like 2 years.
Makes me raise an eyebrow over some of the dodgier laws that are taking so long to sort out. Article 301 springs to mind.
