Re: How to read your Tapu & Dask Certificate

Can anybody tell me what the word 'IRTIFAKI' means literally translated? This is the word that appears on a tapu like together with 'kat irtifaki' ... I know what they imply together, but I just can not find anyone anywhere that can tell me what the definition of 'IRTIFAKI' is... which seems strange since it used regulalry...any ideas?

Re: How to read your Tapu & Dask Certificate

A Turkish guy just told me it means its the permissive outline of the plan, it cant get mulkiyet unless that plan is adhered to exactly.
The guy speaks perfect English for what its worth.

I'm sure as sure another Turk may translate it differently.

Re: How to read your Tapu & Dask Certificate

Basically thats sort of right the way you explained it, but there is a better way to explain it all too etc etc

But what I'm really interested in is the word 'IRTIFAKI'- nobody seems to know what it means liteerally or where it came from, unlike mulkiyeti etc- so any clues would be appreciated

I think you have already had this question answered by a lawyer on another forum.

Not really, he just addressed the usage and application, and not very well, either...

Re: How to read your Tapu & Dask Certificate

As far as I can determine the word IRTIFAKI is Arabic and has no meaning in general Turkish speak. You would have to find a linguist with a wide knowledge to get the answer you are after.

KAT IRTIFAKI however means you own a share of an as yet incomplete project or complex. On completion your status changes to kat mulkiyeti which signifies you own a spacific property or properties on the project and are entitled to use all of the site facilities.

That's my input, now can you tell me why knowing the meaning is so important to you?
