Edwina Member	Re: Council/Building Tax yes they are endless, but it doesn't matter who has what it all comes down to the name on the Tapu, the council don't want excuses and to be honest they are not interested, so the owners pay anyway hope this helps. So if you have some one helping or some one with power of attorney then make sure they register, or you no what.

Well this is what happened to us today and according to the lawyer it is correct.
Also it is definately 2 bills which have exactly the same on them and you have to pay both & that includes 2 registrations.

OK Edwina I understand your post except for one thing, you say two registrations -which are what? Are saying that you and your husband registered and this is how you received two registrations.

You need to go to the Council Offices which are at the roundabout down from the Saturday market.
Go to the desk on your right as you go in with your tapu and passport and have copies of them too. Ask for a sicil card.

If you have any problems there's a girl at the info desk on the left of the main door that speaks English.
