I know that after 2007 there is a period of 5 years after receipt of Tapu before you don't have to pay CGT but does this apply to full tapu or tapu without Iskan? Also we had to put our house in to a company name as they moved the land boundaries in Ortakent as we were applying for Tapu meaning that the house we already owned had to be in the name of a Turkish Ltd company (we bought on a co-op and tapu took 5 years) do we still pay the same CGT even though this is our main residence (albeit in a company name) or is the main residence exempt like in England? Does it alter things because it's in the company name?

I've tried to look for answers on here but got very confused, please help as our accountant is not the best at explaining this, his Turkish and ours seems very different when trying to understand tax situations!
