Re: photos test

A Beautiful photograph Peaceplant, I assume it was taken around Yalikave, would make a great painting, my son does oil paintings so will run this off and I am sure he will enjoy painting it, many thanks.

İ kept trying to use 'insert image' and having no luck. Then İ went into advanced and pressed 'manage attachments' and uploaded my image easy-peasy. Dunno anything about İmage Shack though

You can find help here if you are having problems uploading pictures.

Re: photos test

Hi Peaceplant unfortunately we are nowhere near Yalikavek. We have bought a holiday home in Datca which we hope to go out to at the beginning
of May for a couple of weeks. Yes I should be grateful if you have a couple of scenes similar to this, you have got the sillhouettes of the plants just right in foreground of the photo, and the clouds look just lovely. Where we have bought we can look across from our balcony to a similar scene but we would not be as close to the water as this photo is taken from. Turkey has such beautiful scenery in comparison to a lot of other countries. I love places with rugged scenery. The road to Datca from Marmaris is something to be seen as you have all this scenery in front of you, pine forests on either side of the road with glimpses of the azure blue sea on either side in some places, and in the distance a backdrop of layered mountains in different shades of dark purple, lilac and grey, and when the sun is starting to go down you have a lovely pink sky, truly a magnificent scene. I will have to take up photography as we have seen some remarkable lovely sights, and times like these you wish you had brought a camera to capture the moment in time.

Re: photos test

İ love taking photos and try to remember my camera whenever İ go out. Just upgraded to a better camera but haven't uploaded anything in the gallery yet but the photos should be better quality. But İ wish İ could paint!!! İ have artist paper, a paint tray, tubes of oil paint and 2 sets of brushes - but just one ingredient missing. TALENT.
