Eurorovision Song Contest

What an absolute shambles of artistic/musical recognition. The voting system was a political embarrassment which detracted from the true entertainment value attempted by the countries represented.

How can any country afford to host this as a genuine talent contest when there are so many political and historical issues.

Not only were Turkey streets ahead of those in the higher selected groups but they were surpassed by a couple of `Non-Nem No Talented` look-a-likes, which really added insult to injury.

This is usually an annual event which I avoid but, for medical reasons, I was forced to watch. However, I`m sure that I detected from the sound of Terry Woburns comments that he thinks that this contest has become nothing more than a political statement which the final contest result table will endorse.

I believe this will be the final contest , the time has come and `I`ve Made My Mind Up`.

Re: Eurorovision Song Contest

l thought that years ago, this song competition has a stench of fraudulent activity in the judging.l am still surprized by the contest, that it is still running.Once the E.U started increasing its borders, there was an odvious and noticeale change in the judging.
This type of corruption within the competition,of many countries being represented towards other E.U countries has grown so wide and sophisiticated, that it has now undermined the very fabric of the close and friendly relations amongst the european countries, and also a competition, not to be trusted.

When Wogan was interviewed on landing back home, the reporter pushed him for an answer as to whether he'd be back to host it next year.... "Absolutely not" he said.

Go on Beeb.... Pull the plug!
