My swimming pool is 12m*6m. I spend around 700YTL a year for chemicals (chlore, ph, algicid). It is working from april to end of november. Every day you have to clean it, check the chemicals..about 40 mn > 20 h per month.

It is true that the pool chemical prices gone up nearly 100 % but not because the turkish govenment wants to sell their own chemicals. Reason is, that from know on only chemical with TUV certificate or TSE certificate can be sold to catch up the european standarts. Doesnt matter if turkish or other products, solong it has a certification.

The price seems fair to me because I pay the same money for a 8x6 m pool. It was last year 200 YTL.
