Didim Seyhat

We are going to Marmaris for a few days soon, does anyone know if the Didim Seyhat that goes from Altinkum to Aydin goes into the Aydin Otogar that is a few miles out of Aydin? As this is where we have to get the Pammukale for our onward journey to Marmaris,

many thanks

Sharon

Yes, the Didim Seyahat does indeed go into the Otogar at Aydin, we have done the same journey ourselves a few times.

Re: Didim Seyhat

No. That is the shortest route. But public transport is often more circuitous.

Both Milas & Mugla are major bus/coach routes, I would've thought from Didim via those places to Marmaris would be the best option.
Me personally, once on a bus/coach I cant wait to get off, I don't travel too well on them.

Re: Didim Seyhat

We usually go via Bodrum where we pick-up the the Marmaris Ko op bus but it seems to have stopped running, which is a shame as it was an excellent service, but perhaps they could not afford the new buses?

Just out of interest Sharon, when you went via Bodrum did that go via Aydin?

Re: Didim Seyhat

No you get the didim seyhat to bodrum, then you would get the marmaris ko-op bus that stopped in yatagan and then mugla and next stop marmaris, it was a great service and was only 20ytl and run 6 times a day, but as l said before they were quite old mini buses so perhaps they could not afford to purchase brand new buses that mugla seem to be running
