Re: Turquoise Bosphorus

A good thing that came from it attracted more Bottlenose Dolphins, my parents said Istanbul’s waters once teemed with marine life swordfish, sea turtles, even Mediterranean monk seals but the seals have vanished from the channel, as have the once-abundant fish populations.

I think that would be my dream - see dolphins in the Bosphorus. Then I could die happy.

Re: Turquoise Bosphorus

Where it originates captured from a Nasa Satellite black sea.......... A lot of Istanbulites thought it could have been caused by the recent earthquakes or pollution spill. But it seems they traveled up from the black sea as seen by the photo.
