Brokoli Pon Pon Boregi

Those of us living in Turkey and using Digiturk have all seen the Exper laptop advert several times by now.

Anyone able to throw some light on the recipe in English ?

Ovacik2 - did you actually read this back before posting?

I really like this line - Place the mold of dough pucker.

and Sheep from the middle of the mortar.

I know you were trying to help and appreciate your efforts.

Re: Brokoli Pon Pon Boregi

Broccoli with a pompon Böreği

16 pcs milfoy hamuru (you buy these in the frozen section of your supermarket)

2-3 tablespoon thin angel hair semolina noodles (like you use in chicken noodle soup)
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoon milk
3 tablespoon crumbled white cheese
3-4 branches brocoli
2 carrots
Salt
1 yumurta 1 egg
nigella seeds (black sesame seeds)

Soften the noodles in boiling water. When it is cooked, add the oil, milk and cheese. Stir. Cut up the brokoli and boil it 4-5 minute, in separate water, then strain the water, when it is cooked, add it to the oil, milk and cheese mixture, in the meantime, the milfoy should have thawed. Grate the carrots, and cook in its own water. Mix in with the broccoli mixture, taste for salt content. Add the white of the egg to this mixture. In a small cake (individual??) pan add oil, or use parchment paper, add the milfoy (I cant think of the English word, it is used in pastries, napoleons? and place the mixture inside it. Close them up at the top (in a pucker if you wish) if you aren’t using a mold, just tie them up twist them….make a wash with the yolk of the egg, and glaze the top of the boreks. Then add some of the nigella seed, cook at 200 c for 20 minutes
