A very useful website that has pictures and charts showing what part of Cows, Chickens and Lamb the various cuts of meat originate from.

Thanks KKOB the charts are most useful to this hobbiest chef. Migros has similar charts on the meat counter though being able to copy and paste helps 'home/self' tuition and in Turkish too.

..excellent post kkob .ive saved it to favourites ..altough i do know all the meat cuts ..but not in turkish ..had a problem a few weeks ago trying to buy rump steak..now i know what to ask for..sokum..but i better pronounce it correctly ..because the is a similar turkish swear word..
