Kipa Peynir Tatılsı

Without really thinking, we bought some "Kipa Peynir Tatılsı", bacause they looked like tasty mini cheese scones.

However we got them home and found they were rock hard. On the back the instructions seemed to involve soaking in a scary amount of sugar syrup.

Has anyone tried these?

Dave.

Re: Kipa Peynir Tatılsı

Yes, they're really good and make a quick pudding. Follow the instructions and soak them in the syrup mixture. I add a pinch of cinnamon as well. Serve with a dollop of cream or ice cream. I find that only 3 or 4 is enough for one person so don't make the whole packet. Then go for a long walk to work off the calories!

Thumbs up Re: Kipa Peynir Tatılsı

also if you get items like these even day old bread ..brush milk(liberally) on an oven tray ..put the bread ,or scones on put in a medium oven for about 10 minutes..and it brings them back original condition....works a treat..
