fresh olive meze

if you like fresh green olives with a bit of zing then try this meze from Antakya.

You need fresh green olives..or if they have been in brine wash them well..
Stone them and cut them in halves and quarters
finely chop a long red pepper
finely chop a skinned tom
add olive oil
nar ekşisi
pul biber(hot red pepper flakes)
lemon juice
mix it all together..and prepare to be addicted

Re: fresh olive meze

Thanks Shirley I love Olives, only last night I sat a ate a full tub of Olives with Chilli oil, delicious, so will be trying this recipe, sounds very moreish served with a wedge of crusty bread. I always bring Nar Eksisi back home to the UK, and we've just had that drizzled over a fresh salad served with Chicken, love it.

I can vouch for this dish Shirley made it for Ceni and I yesterday, we were treated to this and all the yummy things she had been given from Yusuf's family. We really enjoyed the day as did my white top I was really greedy in trying every thing some ended up on my top, then Shirley spoiled every thing by giving us a Turkis lesson, only joking Shirley the lesson was good
Deli değilim the recipe is good
