Green Beans

Green Beans

Ingredients

Green Beans 1 Kg Onion 2 pc Tomato 4 pc olive oil 1/2 cup Water 1/2 cup Salt Sugar
Procedure

Wash green beans and chop onions. Heat olive oil, add onions cook well. Add stirring water, sugar and salt, boil. Stir in saucepan green beans and processed tomatoes cook, covered. Simmer for 20-30 minetes, serve cold.

OR

Green Beans with Rice
Ingredients

Green Bean 1 kg Onion 2 large size Rice 1/2 cup Salt 2 1/2 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Olive Oil 8 tablespoon Su (sicak) 1 1/2 cup
Procedure

Snapp off ends of beans. Cut into 2 1/2 cm (1 inch) diagonally. Cut onions into half. Slice into 2 mm thick slices. Arrange half of onions on bottom of a shallow pan. Spread half of beans over onions. Sprinkle rice over beans. Spread remaining beans fy´rst, then onions on top. Season with salt and sugar. Add olive oil and hot water. Cover and simmer for 45-50 minutes or until tender; cool. Serve cold

Just the recipes I wanted! Bought nice fresh green beans on Bodrum market on Friday, and wanted something simple and easy to do with them. Knew I would find what I wanted on here.
