Looking for free Online translator

Has anyone managed to find an online translator, there appear to be many for other lanquages but I am having difficulty in getting Turkish.
The only one so far, I put in some english to Turkish, then took a section of the Turkish to be translated back into English....this is the result..

""hell Damage , I hope you ebilmek understand this! teşekkür in thine yard do period we were over in turkey , and I hope you and family bkz. have a good new yl congratulation. document tanmlk monetary bkz. have hi sentence today çarşamba 14/01/05) £xxxx in the other piece , he bkz. have hi sentence had doru thine report ayn step request.""

Not sure if I dare send this if the Turkish reads anything like the English then who knows what I am sending :-)

lol,

sounds about right to me.

seriously though, you would be better off getting it done properly, I have details of the lady who does all the translations for a solicitor in Altinkum, I can send them to you.

Otherwise there are a few online Turkish Translators around, you might see the ads on top of this page.

Hey Juco the local kebab house and barber help us and that is the truth, they love helping us out, it's amazing as I walk up our local high street and someone will shout over "Merhaba Gail" We have got three sources here who help us out when we need it, they're fab but who will be surprised at that?

Might give that a try Gail....good idea.
Mushtaq...Don`t need a professional, not yet anyway, I am just trying to be smart and send a couple of emails to agent in turkish, they are just courtesy emails not legal or anything.

Re: Looking for free Online translator

yeah i couldnt agree with you more even though i am welsh and do not speak it.
The point i was making tho is that scandinavians start learning english as a 2nd language in school at the age of 6.The germans start learning english early. The problem with english schools is that they never learn french or spanish until 13.Young children brain capacity is very large at a young age thats why they can memorise languages more

Re: Looking for free Online translator

It will be compulsary for all primary schools in England to teach modern foreign languages from 2010. Most primary schools do teach languages already, my school does Italian with an Italian student and I teach french throughout the juniors so we are catching up with the Europeans! One of the languages on the list for the future was actually turkish which is great!
Au revoir,
