Using Jila Edalet (Bodrum Lawyer).

Hello,

We recently (last year) bought a place in the Bodrum area and engaged the services of Jila Edalet to cover the legal paperwork. Unfortunately, we have been unable to contact her (e-mail, fax, telephone) since early this year, so is there any other TL member that can shed some light?

I've tried our Estate Agent, but aftersales are not on the menu, so no help there.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi
I have called her many times and I always get through to her or her assistant. Saw her in May when we were over. PM me if you need to confirm her numbers. She does take a while to reply to emails though which is whay I always end up calling.

I used Jila last year to buy.

She was still going strong in December but I do know she is not the best person to respond to e mail, best calling her and pm me if you want her number.

When I was out there in May my friend was using her for a purchase then.

Cheers

parrot, unfortunately i have heard the same kind of response from other people. but you know, she was/is nokta's lawyer, so maybe she didnt want to get involved in anything that would have caused a rift.

We also used Jila when we bought. We found her great for follow up. Karen in the office was also able to deal with a lot of our queries. We usually found ringing was the best way to contact her.

Re: Using Jila Edalet (Bodrum Lawyer).

Hi

I have just managed to get in touch with Jilas assistant after several calls.
The legal paperwork has not started yet because Jila is delaying our Tapu application to avoid paying some charges that do not apply after June 07. Reading some of the comments on TL site, I think it might be the military searches charge. Any ideas if she is doing the right thing?
Thanks
Magic.
