Re: Pending court case .

Shouldn't think it makes any difference Maggie. As you know, we started a court case and had to come back to the UK for various reasons. The case continued in our absence. We asked our solicitor about appearing at the hearings, and he said it would make no difference whether we were there or not.

Still, I suppose it might depend on the type of case being heard and whether evidence needs to be given verbally. Your solicitor should be able to tell you more clearly.

Re: Pending court case .

If you are required to give evidence then you must be there at the hearing...other than that you are free to come and go. As Maisie has said, your solicitor obviously has POA to work on your behalf so he can represent you at other times.

Re: Pending court case .

i know somebody here who went to the uk while his case was pending..he had the date for court appearance so he was back for that and there was no problems..that was a year ago..and all the people involved are still waiting for the judgement things can drag on and on here the Courts are never in a hurry to get things done.
