Noter or Solicitor?

Is a contract more legally binding if drawn up by a solicitor rather than just notarised?

Re: Noter or Solicitor?

Yes, because a notarised document is legally registered. Anyone can draw up a document with a solicitor at any time but there is no guarantee of it being dated or witnessed correctly and in timely fashion, unless legally registered. It's to do with trust in the system. Personally, dealing in any foreign legal system I'd rather have the belt and the braces.

Re: Noter or Solicitor?

presumably the contract would have to be presented to the Noter in Turkish and then verbally translated to the English party?
