Warranty for the house

Hi
When does the warranty for the house start, is it when you get the keys (even if they are still working on some parts of the house), or is it when you get the tapu?

Re: Warranty for the house

No such thing in Turkey, once they've got your money it's bye bye. They promise the earth but never live up to their promises. So good luck Bjorn hope I'm wrong and you enjoy you new house.

Totally agree with Mig62 unfortunately. If you expect anything to be as it probably is in your home country you will be disappointed. Having decided to buy property in Turkey then you have to realise that any further work required on it you are better off, in every way, to do it yourself. Those who are not able to DIY are going to have a hard time.

So e companies advertised a 10 year builders guarantee ,but used a shadow company to build then closed it down after the construction finished ending in no one to claim against

100% agree with the posts above Bjorn. Buyer beware. We have all (well most of us) fallen for their "contracts" only to find they are not worth the paper they are printed on, even with signatures of builders etc etc. If you do have any problems ask around to find a good "honest" tradesman/builder.
