Letter of consent for Pegasus.. Help !

I'm returning to LGW on Saturday after 6 weeks in Bodrum. Return flight booked via THomas Cook. The return journey is operated by Pegasus.
My husband flew home a few weeks ago so on Saturday I will be flying on my own with our 3 children. I looked at the Pegasus website last night and it says if a parent is flying with their children on their own they need a letter of consent from the other parent ? I only stumbled on this information from browsing the website. Nowhere on my Thomas Cook booking confirmation does it say anything about this ! Has anyone flown pegasus with their children and without husband/wife before ??!
Thank you.

Re: Letter of consent for Pegasus.. Help !

Sounds like it could be something to do with if the Father is Turkish & the Mother is a foreigner, ie snatching the kids. I would assume that as long as there are no court cases pending re divorce etc I cannot see a problem.

Re: Letter of consent for Pegasus.. Help !

I've just exchanged various emails with Thomas Cook who say that it doesn't apply to
us. I will put something together myself just in case !

Re: Letter of consent for Pegasus.. Help !

I have flown loads of times with just my daughter, including a flight with Pegasus, I have never needed a letter from her Turkish Dad. What does a letter show anyway, you could write the letter yourself & sign it with your husbands name, surely unless it's an officially recognized legal letter it is meaningless.

1 adult + 3 children?

Obviously with not knowing the ages of the children but my main concern would be with the ages of the children, or should I say, are the children old enough to look after themselves or sit on their own if needs be?
