Seriously though, like the futuristic design but loses something, lost without the roar vibration and oil smell and no real speed to speak of......

Made in Austria and only 60 sold since 2014 so quite a rare sighting then.

Thanks Juco....

I had the opposite a few years back when island hopping on the Scottish isles. In a small quiet village we were setting off (yamaha 850 triple), bike was quite loud and as I picked away there was a Japanese tourist with several camera around his neck walking up the road. When he heard the loud noise he panicked and started running full pelt along the road, he must have run 100 yards with me behind (I was on opposite side of road) before we both stopped and had a good laugh about it.

I dread to think of silent Bikes . With mine I noticed as I come up behind most cars they move over to the left, when they hear me behind them [ Very Handy ] . I kept the stnd pipes for MOT,s.

Those solid disc wheels and dustbin bodywork designs will be horrendous in cross winds , Triumph and Norton went there in the 50's , not for long.

They look like fair weather bikes that will probably never leave the square mile, can't see them knees down on the cat and fiddle when there's 2 feet of snow laying down like when I had my C90 twin turbo, spax shocked and breathing through a 2ft square k & n down polished chromed intake pipes, ZZR 1400s make fabulous hair dryers.

If you don't have Koni's and Brembo's you've no chance on the cat and fiddle.

Re: Bikers out there Question Please

Electric motorcycles. I know it only relates to 2014 models but some may find this link interesting. I believe that some models allow you to switch on or off a sound module for driving in town.

2014 Electric Motorcycles: Buyer's Guide

Won't sound like my old Kawasaki 1100 used to though.

Re: Bikers out there Question Please

Never driven an electric vehicle...not sure i'd like the silence.

I loved the sound of my VFR750....it had a slight hunting on tickover (but that was normal).

It's a bit weird to start with but you soon get used to it, The main problem is speeding because of it being so quite.
