I sometimes have the flavoured ones, it just tastes like slightly runny fruit yogurt. I saw something in a magazine the other day about making your kefir drink fruity and plan to try that.

I have started my regime and at the moment having half a glass first thing every other day.

Is ıt readily available in UK supermarkets? I can get it almost everywhere in Alanya, even Bim but going to UK for Xmas and dont want to mess up my new regime

alison.
Alison, I think it may be postcode specific in some supermarkets as found plentiful in one Asda whilst never heard of in another. It tends to be a limited stock due to shelf life and classed at the moment as being a specialty in the Polish section. Sainsbury had it for a while as did Tesco but always had trouble sourcing it in these stores, Asda I have been luckier, also if you have a Polish store in the area your visiting they also stock small quantities.

To reduce the fizziness I have been told add an airlock and store in fridge, some fruits when added cause fizzness kwi the worst.

Ah, we have plenty of Polish grocery stores in Worthing (they keep springing up !) so I will try there. Thanks.
