They Prefer Turkey

I found this a really enjoyable article that gives a little insight into how Turkish ex-pats feel.

It descibes how four Turkish women who grew up in the Dutch cities of Rotterdam, Hengelo, Oss and Zwolle, chose to leave Holland for Turkey a few years ago. Their future, they say, is in Turkey!

This was written for the February issue of the Dutch monthly magazine Red by Frederike Geerdink, a Dutch journalist now based in Istanbul.
