Distance buying/selling here in Turkey.

Until recently I have been quite happy buying stuff from the internet. The a couple of months ago I decided to buy a smart watch/fitness tracker, I selected a watch did the business and sat back to wait. What arrived was not the watch I had selected, in fact it turned out to be a fake into the bargain. After negotiating its return and finally getting my money back I decided to try again but this time using a global seller.
I spent some time filtering through watch reviews on YouTube. I ordered the watch I wanted and went ahead and ordered it. After waiting fo over a week it finally arrived. It was inside one of the best packaging materials I have seen in many a year.... but the boxe was the wrong shape. It also turned out to be a deception. I complained to the selling agent and they advised me not to buy anything from one of their franchised sellers. Finally resolved and money back where it belongs.
Last week we decided to buy an additional pair of remote controls for our gate motors. This time we used one of Turkey,s best known sellers. This morning on my way to the shops I was flagged down by a van driver. He came to my car with a small packege, he knew it was for me. When I got home and opened it up there was the items I had ordered plus a small gift of Haribo golden bears.
The moral to all this is as I have always told my wife "Support your local traders"
