no more repeat 3 month visas?
The rumour in our village tonight is that there will not be any more repeat 3 month tourist visa's for those of us who have not yet paid for our resident's permit. So no more popping over to Kos for the day to renew?
Anyone else heard this?

Re: no more repeat 3 month visas?
If correct - Had to happen - fill in the forms and get permit or go out now every 30 days.

Re: no more repeat 3 month visas?
How much does a residency permit cost, and does it last indefinitely or just for one year?

Re: no more repeat 3 month visas?
This rumour has been circulating for the past eighteen months.
But, given the fact they've now finally tightened up the expired Tourist Visa issue, which has been rumoured to be imminent for about the same length of time, then there is a high likelihood the consecutive issuing of Tourist Visas might be next on the hit list. The alternative version is that the Tourist Visa will be reduced to 30days from its current 90 days; either way, its going to upset a *lot* of folks if implemented.

Re: no more repeat 3 month visas?
What is the point of having a holiday home if you have to pay through the nose to stay there?

Re: no more repeat 3 month visas?
Hi beachhhh,
I don't think anyone is suggesting that.
They are suggesting that they might clamp down on people who are living as residents whilst still on a Tourist Visa.
