Re: Which is the easier route
bodrum to kos ,we did it for visa renewal ,only 30 mins on thehover type ferry ,we went normal ferry i think about £15 return . but for renewal you must go bodrum kos ,not turget kos . as we turned up at turgetreis to find out we had to go to bodrum in order to renew on the kos trip . so had to go next day from bodrum .

Thanks Biggles and all for your kind help..
Did you have any problems renewing your visa, any questions asked and was it straight forward, do we need to renew on day the 90 days run out or can we go a few days earlier
Thanks

Re: Which is the easier route
Personally if you can do the Kussadassi to Samos trip, we much prefer this the trip is nicer on a smaller boat the the island is lovely and it was no queues and crowds. I would not wait to the last day if i was you to renew it do it a couple of days before you never know how you could get held up and its big penalties for going over. We ve never been asked questions etc and dont intend to get residency in the forseeable future unless we are forced to. You have to stay out of the country for six hours. We may go for our little holiday in the season and stay on either island for a few nights just for a change of scenery.

Re: Which is the easier route
our visa had actually run out ,we were on a 4 week hol and discovered 3 days before our flight both had expired 1 week earlier . had no problem and fine was about £140 for both of us . we could have done it at the a/port but our plane was leaving early morn and we did not want to take a chance on a prob at a/port so thats why we went to kos the day before our flight back . customs did not seem worried in the least .just re syamped and took the money .. [ i wonder where it went ]

Re: Which is the easier route
Hi
just a quick question about renewing your 90 visa.
How many times can you do this ? is there a limit on the times that this can be done?
It seems to easy :-)
Thanks
