Re: help!!!ikamet-residence permission
Application procedures do vary from region to region.
The system in Antalya ( a provincial capital) is different from the system in Fethiye( The provincial capital being Muğla)
If you let the forum know in which town or city you are living then members can give you specific advice

Re: help!!!ikamet-residence permission
Benvenuto Angelo
i believe you pay much less for residency than people from the Uk...the procedure for getting the residency will be about the same.
Apply to your nearest Police Station and they will give you a form asking for your personal details etc..to fill this in you can find places where they do typing and photocopying as you will also need photocopies of your passport identity page and the date when you entered Turkey. you will also need some passport photos..about 4.
According to how long you want to stay they will give you a paper with the amount you have to pay to the tax office...you also need to show some proof that you can keep yourself financially for your stay.
İn some Provinces you have to go to the Governors Office for a stamp..in other places where they are used to foreigners the procedure is simpler.
İ think maybe you should get proper details for an İtalian from your Consulate.

Re: help!!!ikamet-residence permission
You don't have to go back to Italy, just leave Turkey before your visa expires,go to the nearest Greek island on a day trip and return to Turkey and get another tourist visa which will cover you for another three months and so on.
