Question renunciation of Citizenship

Hello, i am an american citizen who was born in the usa. i have turkish h parents who got turkish citizenship for me. can someone please explain the process for renunciation of my turkish citizenship.
i live near SF.

Ahhhhhhhh you want to avoid military service??
Not sure of the process is there nothing on the Turkish Consulate web pages? Possible the Turkish embassy in the states would be the best ones to ask..

this brings back memories of a mate of mine who emigrated to the states in the 60s. when the viet nam war broke out,him and his wife hot footed it back here,but he was still interogated by the us embassy as to his reasons why he suddenly came back as his call up to viet nam was only months away. he got away with it ,but he could not go back there to live.
