Regarding the visas, I have just had a bit of a scare. Clicked on the Turkish Republic e-government link to check out cost of visas. It showed $37 for a single entry visa and about $130 for multiple entry. In both cases I gave tourism as the reason for entering Turkey. This just didn't seem right so I tested it for the cost of a visa for myself and the result was $100. Anyone with an Irish passport only pays €10, so there must be something wrong with the information on the website.
I am concerned, however, that the Americans might have to pay more than $20 for a multiple entry visa.

I know that from where i work we send a lot of Americans to Turkey & all use their American licenses (most dont have international)

a bit off subject ,but when i first went to america back in 91 ,when i went to hire a car they kept asking for my photo lic ,i pointed out we did not have one in the uk .they thought that really strange at the time.
