renewal of residency
Hi All,
if this has been covered on here before please forgive me.!!! 
When renewing your residency do you have to supply new photos again or do they just put another years stamp into your existing residency visa.???or do you end up with a totally new one.????
Have to renew mine soon so dont want to go to Aydin with the in correct documentation.
Cant believe I have been here almost a year.!!!!

Can't remember whether I had to have new photos, but wouldn't be surprised. We went down to the passport police office where they gave me a form to complete and it had a list of what was required on it, with the relevant items ticked. They don't give you a new blue book though, just a renewal page stamped at the back.

Hi maggie,
I renewed mine last week they need 3 new photos a copy of your passport picture page and a copy of your last visa in your passport.

They didnt ask for a new copy of your statement of bank account? Like "you had xxx amount of turkish lira a year ago, how much is it now?" |

I renewed mine in Bodrum 2 weeks ago they wanted everything all over again jusy like applying for the first time.
The port police have a list of what is required:=
a form from the Hukumet building, 6 passport photos, photocopies of two different pages of your passport, bank account photocopies and the filled in application form.
You pay at the Ziyarat bank after a long wait.
You leave your passport and ikamet with Port police and 10 days later you go and collect renewed ikamet and passport from port police.
