How much is a Work Permit
Sorry if this has been done before, I have searched but can't find anything.
How much does a Work Permit cost? I have a Residence Permit.
The Turkish Govt. site (accessed through Fethiye Times) says it is YTL 50 for one year, YTL 150 for 3 etc., The London Turk Consulate site gives a price of £75. Friends (none of whom have one) tell me £800.
I know all the other requirements, but the most important bit seems the hardest to check. Do you know, or know where I can check it?

Hi immac, welcome to the TL forum!
The most recent work permit application cost, where a friend applied a couple of months ago was in the region of 450YTL.
I am afraid I have no idea of any online resource where you can qualify the costs.

Merv
Thanks for that, and thanks for the welcome.
Do you know what period YTL450 was for? The basic Permit is one year, then 3 (or two depending which site you read), then 5, and there is another that is indefinite leave to work.
I think one can only go for the 1 year in the first instance, so it is that cost I am looking for, although the whole cost scale will be interesting.

Re: How much is a Work Permit
Hi
The cost was for a single year.
I dont have the costs for longer periods as the only people I know have gone for a single year.
This is mainly because they expect to be working for a new employer in the future and as you probably already know, the permit is non-transferable.
