Re: Residence permit fees
So when we move to Turkey can we get a 5 year residents visa straight away as I had been told we had to get a 2 year visa first then after that you can apply for a 5 year visa.
I was also told that you can't keep going over to the Greek Islands to get 3 month visa but I know lots of people who do and have been doing it for quite some time.

I was told the same thing (must be 2 years first, then 5) but I think it was wrong and I know people now who go straight into the 5 year Permit. Sometimes, in this fantastic country, getting even the simplest question answered, or getting consistent treatment, is impossible.

Re: Residence permit fees
We got a 5 yr residency first time not a problem, so that has put that myth to bed.

Do they take 67 year old men on National Service? I just want Mick to start his fitness programme now so he is ready in 5 years.

Ann, I have read the price quotes on the web, US citizens apparently pay nothing now, not bad eh? but cant remember off hand the Canandian costs.
I am sure that some one with the answer will be along to answer.

Re: Residence permit fees
Sorry to be a pain, but can anyone living in Turkey apply for a resdence permit, even if they have just started living there. Also what if they haven't got their Tapu through yet, and could you tell me how much it is for 1 year, 2 years and 5 years.
Thanks
