Why on earth would you need to do either? She's coming on holiday as your guest isn't she, not paying you rent. No law says a person can't have 8 weeks' holiday is there?

Re: a residency question

maybe she has used her time allowance in the last six months- or maybe plans to do so if the eight weeks goes well?
I fear that a rental agreement backed by a copy of your tapu will be required - but you could ask the police (foreign dept)

good luck

Re: a residency question

Dave I know it is different in each area, but I helped a lady who just holiday rents in Side (no formal rental agreement) & when we got her residency permit she just put down her rented holiday apartment address, no rental paperwork needed or anything from the company she rented through either, they didn't query anything. So on that theory she should just be able to put your address.

Good luck.

Re: a residency question

There is a page in your residency permit, record of accompaniment. Don't know how it works through.

Also when i first registered with the Muhtar he also wanted picture and details of my mother as she visited me often

Re: a residency question

Dave, after reading previous post, you should go to specsavers, lol.

I do hope your girlfriend gets sorted, I would think a Residency Permit should be an easy process, as she has proof of address etc; but then I think 'well this is Turkey' but anyway, let us know if it is a smooth ride. It could come in handy for others to get through the hoops.
